Karen Rivers
Karen Rivers was born in 1950, San Rafael, California, and studied Comparative Religions, Philosophy and World Literature at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with a B.A.. Karen received her California Teaching Credential from Dominican University. After teaching English and Humanities at San Rafael High School, she undertook the Waldorf Teacher Training at the Rudolf Steiner College and began teaching at the Marin Waldorf School, where she worked as a class teacher, administrator, faculty chair, college chair and trustee. Subsequently she received a Masters Degree from Wisdom University She is currently on the faculty of Wisdom University and is the Director of the New Chartres School. On New Year’s Eve, 1994 Karen co-founded the Sophia Foundation of North America.
Karen has dedicated her inner life to the mysteries of the Divine Feminine. She lecturers and offers courses in Choreocosmos, Cosmic and Sacred Dance, Parenting as a Path of Self-Development, Human Biography, The Evolution of Human Consciousness and courses directed at the deepening of one's spiritual life and the work of inner transformation. She ministers the Rosamira Circle, dedicated to the unity of all religions, and the Sophia Grail Circle, dedicated to the Divine Feminine. In her work with the Sophia Foundation she co-leads pilgrimages to sacred sites around the world:
Karen is co-editor of Waldorf Education, a Family Guide, editor and author of Chanticleer, a former quarterly publication for Waldorf Schools, and author of Recommended Reading List for Children. She is currently working on her doctorate in Wisdom Studies. Karen lives in Nicasio, California, with her husband, Michael.
Robert Powell
Robert Powell has an enduring passion for the stars, and was awarded a PhD for his contribution to the History of the Zodiac. He is an internationally renowned lecturer. Through the content of his talks given during conferences and workshops, his living knowledge of the stars is woven into his presentations. As well as being a scholar of the history of astronomy, Robert is also co-founder of the Sophia Foundation of North America, through which he leads pilgrimages to sacred sites around the world.
Robert is the author of many books, including most recently Prophecy–Phenomena–Hope: The Real Meaning of 2012, The Astrological Revolution and Christ and the Maya Calendar (with Kevin Dann), and The Mystery, Biography & Destiny of Mary Magdalene. He is also the author of a work that, for the first time ever, scientifically dates events in the life of Christ: Chronicle of the Living Christ. Philip Mees
Philip Mees was born in Holland. He attended graduate school in the United States and made his working career in international banking in Holland and New York. For many years he was a Board member of the Rudolf Steiner Foundation. Philip got to know the Sophia Foundation in 1995, joined the pilgrimage to Turkey in 1996 and also became a Board member in that year. He has been a student of the work of Rudolf Steiner for many years. Philip is retired and translates anthroposophical books from Dutch into English at his home in Glendale CA, where he lives with his wife Linda Connell.
Russell Delman
Russell Delman has been a student of Zen meditation and somatic awareness since 1969. He has taught the Feldenkrais Method for more than 35 years and has trained many practitioners through out the world. In 2005, Russell formed "The Embodied Life School" which offers an integrated approach to embodied spirituality. Married for 37 years and the father of a 22 year old woman, Russell lives in northern California.

Eileen M. Sullivan, MFT, PhD
Eileen has been in private practice as a psychotherapist since 1987, and holds a doctorate in Adult Learning Theory. Eileen is well versed in a wide range of therapeutic modalities from addition to xenophobia. In addition to a private practice, Eileen has frequently served corporate clients in organizational learning and change. Her current therapeutic interest lies in developing and strengthening the practical and esoteric aspects of “the will force” for right action toward personal and collective healing.
Cheryl Mulholland
Cheryl Mulholland lives in Boulder, Colorado. She has been a teacher for over 30 years in many capacities including: Waldorf education, pre-K through high school, eurythmy, Waldorf teacher training, farming, gardening and herbal studies. Together with her husband, Jim Barausky, Cheryl runs apprenticeship training for Biodynamic Agriculture. She currently offers Rosamira Sacred Circles for Families, Sophia Grail Circles, children’s programs, and family festivals in her local community.

Choreocosmos is a modern form of Cosmic and Sacred Dance, which represents a metamorphosis of the sacred temple dances of antiquity.
